Nomi’s Dance for Freedom Fundraiser a Success

In an elegant dance studio in the heart of Manhattan’s Times Square, couples and friends gathered Saturday, February 12th to support Nomi Network and celebrate Valentine’s Day. Hosted by Dance Times Square, the evening was fired up with a salsa lesson given by choreographers from the hit show So You Think You Can Dance, Tony Meredith and Melanie LaPatin. Guests also got to see a spicy Latin ballroom dance performance by Vladimir Velev and Lily Kolman.

Warmed up and inspired, guests crowded the dance floor—eager to try out their new moves. Others mingled, sampling some of the decadent chocolate desserts and drinks from the open bar.

What happens when you combine salsa dancing, wine, and chocolate around Valentine’s Day? Well, it’s magical. But you’ll have to come to next year’s Dance-a-thon to experience it for yourself!

Thank you to everyone who came! We raised approximately $2,500 and we couldn’t have done it without you!
