Valentine’s Day Dance Charity Event

Nomi Network offers another fantastic evening of dancing and drinking this Valentine’s Day weekend with their upcoming event: Dance for Freedom. Nomi supporters and volunteers will gather at Dance Times Square, NYC’s premier Latin and Ballroom dance studio on Saturday, February 12th from 7-10PM. It will be a night of dancing, desserts, and sparkling beverages—and all proceeds will go towards Nomi Network’s global anti-trafficking efforts.

Enjoy a professional dance lesson with So You Think You Can Dance? choreographers and Times Square Dance founders, Tony Meredith and Melanie Lapatin. Watch as they give a live demonstration of dance moves from the rumba, salsa, swing, and the waltz.

Nomi Co-Founder and Vice President Alissa Moore says, "Our annual dance fundraiser is one of my favorite Nomi gatherings of the year and this year's Dance for Freedom event is going to be a blast! Everybody should feel welcome to come, even those with no dance experience. There will be lots of opportunities to learn some new moves from professional dance instructors, meet a dance partner or two, and schmooze with other passionate activists. We're also super excited to have Tony Meredith and Melanie Lapatin join us for the evening - they are truly giants in the dance world!"

Food and beverage items are being generously donated for this event. If you or your company would like to make a financial contribution to the Nomi Network Valentine’s Day Dance Charity Event Day please contact Kala Burst, our Event Point Person at Kala@nominetwork.org.
