Dance-for-Haiti

Our annual Dance-a-thon on February 12th in NYC brought together Nomi supporters & volunteers to raise money while dancing the night away. Participants gave donations that went to both Nomi Network & to the U.S. UNICEF's efforts to respond to the emergency in Haiti. Nomi Network raised 1,000! Prizes were given to dancers with the most endurance & for individuals who raised the most funds for the event. Justin Shockley won first place for his endurance and dancing style! The dance-a-thon is one of the special times in the life of the network that brings the local Nomi community together to celebrate all that has been accomplished. It proved it’s possible to breathe new life in to a heart-breaking issue by educating others trampling over injustice.
