Where We've Been, Where We're Going
Since its inception, we at Nomi Network have dreamed of and worked towards establishing ourselves as a presence within the fashion industry. We believe that while the notoriety of causes come and go, good products speak for themselves. More importantly, too, the quality products that we aim to make at Nomi Network speak of the lives of the women who create them and are truly the driving force of our organization. This past November, we came one step closer to achieving that goal when we held a photo shoot for our new Look Book showcasing our products for Spring 2010. The shoot was held on the west side of Manhattan in Chelsea and though the day was a bit chilly, everyone was excited and in good spirits for this milestone for Nomi Network. Thanks to the truly professional and beautiful work of our photographer, Justin Shockley; fashion stylist, Ishmail Ahmad; lovely models, Anya, Jessica, Bess, and Brianna, and the rest of the crew, the day started off without a hitch and produced some truly gorgeous shots. We can hardly wait to unveil the Look Book to you all very soon and hope that it makes you as excited as we are for this upcoming season and year!
Several members of the Nomi team also attended the UNICEF-Georgetown International Development Conference in Washington, DC on November 6. Director of Business Strategy and Product Development Supei Liu and Co-Founder Diana Mao presented about Nomi Network and lead a dinner table discussion. Students asked thoughtful questions and many commented on Nomi's innovative cross-sector approach.

Nomi Network will be raising awareness and selling products at the New York Lunar New Year Flower Festival on February 12-13, 2010. The event will be at the Sara D. Roosevelt Park (between Canal and Hester) from 10am-10pm. The event attracts a large audience from all over New York City and neighboring cities like Boston, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C. We hope that you can join us!
Nomi Network's First Annual Abolitionist Award Cocktail Reception on May 5th at 7:00 PM. Tickets and more details will be available soon.
