Classy Awards: Nomi Network Makes Top 25!
Nomi Network, Winner of the 2010 National Classy Award for Small Charity of the Year is in the running again for another 2011 Classy Award honor!
Nomi Network wishes to thank our powerful network for voting for us and for standing beside us to end modern-day slavery. Due to your dedication to our work and your "likes" on Stayclassy.org, we have been selected as one of the top 25 contenders in the next round of voting for the Young Non-profit Leader of the Year Award. This award would honor Diana Mao, Nomi Network’s Co-Founder. Diana volunteers full-time to empower and employ women affected by human trafficking. Through the “Buy Her Bag Not Her Body®” campaign, Diana, along with Nomi Nework’s relentless designers, industry experts and consumers, provides sustainable careers for Cambodian women while raising awareness about the issue of human trafficking.
Voting commenced on July 25th and we need your continual support and votes to become an award finalist. Please vote for Nomi Network and Diana Mao by August 26th to move us on to the final round, where Stay Classy judges will ultimately decide the winner.
The Classy Awards highlight and create a large community of advocates and fundraisers that use social media as a platform to bring awareness to the issues for which they are fighting. Stay Classy, the hosting organization, is entering their third year of recognizing the top Philanthropic Achievements from charities, businesses, fundraisers, and volunteers from across the United States through these awards. Winners receive national recognition and exposure in addition to cash and in-kind donations of services for their cause.
We hope you will extend your hearts and your network in support of our work by voting for us again on Stayclassy.org! Thank you for your support!
